To celebrate their 70th anniversary Moncler has re-released their Karakorum designs, re-invented for a new era. Originally produced in 1954 The Karakorum Jacket is an emblem of warmth and technical excellence, created to withstand the harshest climates, it is expertly crafted from a sumptuous mini nylon ripstop for an insulating appeal, especially with the down filling and nylon lacquer lining making for comfortable wear. Versatility redefines this iconic piece with the long, detachable sleeves and detachable, adjustable hood with a nylon lacquer insert allowing you to style it either as a jacket or a gilet for all-year-round wearing. Made with your comfort in mind you can personalise the feel of the fit with the drawstring fastening on the hem, whilst the zip and double snap button closure allow for ease of wearing. The Internal suspenders allow you to carry a jacket on your back, giving you maximum freedom of movement, whilst the zipped inner and outer pockets allow for ease of access to your small essentials. Designed in a classic colourway for a vibrant appeal this look is punctuated by the iconic Moncler mountain logo patch, The mountains are not only Moncler’s physical birthplace but also a symbolic and visually emotive reminder to constantly pursue higher dreams ahead.
